scope recommendation

Hi everyone; flexible here. Planning on getting a Savage model 12 LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor. I will be shooting at 300 yards & up. Any recommendations on a scope? I'd like to keep it under $400 if possible.

Go to YouTube and check out The Military Arms channel videos. Tim did a review on a couple of budget friendly scopes for his "1,000 yard rifle for $1,000" video. Found one that was less than $300 IIRC and it performed well

I was in the same situation when looking for a decent scope for 1,000 yard F Class competition. Settled on a Sightron SII 6-24X scope that worked quite well.
