i realize Mr. Seecamp does not recommend FMJ because of the reasons he listed. but other than the friction concerns, FMJ is a better defensive round than H.P. in this sub caliber for the increased penetration.....

if i end up with one of these.....i will try both types of ammo. if FMJ fuctions 100%, it will be the one i carry in it. if its a h.p., i will add a drop of epoxy to the cavity so the round will deform less and penetrate more.

To each his own, though I disagree with your statement. But that is the subject of another thread, no doubt. :D

Let us know how the FMJ works out for you when you try it, O.K.?

you disagree that FMJ penetrates better than H.P. ammo? aside from shot placement, penetration is the next most important thing. a self defensive shot may have to made at an angle, with a upper arm bone and muscles in the way of the chest.........and since we're talking about the .32acp in such a diminuative gun.....

I would much rather stick with Seecamp-related content here.

If you find a thread where the JHP vs FMJ debate is central (or want to start one) PM me with a link and I will run my reasoning past you.

no problem...

im not a caliber war starter....

good luck with what ever you use.:)

I have owned and carried a Seecamp LWS-32 loaded with Winchester Silvertips for many years now and have much affection for this little gun. I realize it is not a 357 or 45, but many times I have had it in my pocket with just shorts and tee shirt on and couldn't carry anything bigger. I would much rather carry my Seecamp and not need it then needing my 45 and having it at home. Smetimes YMMV!
