Seafoam is a petroleum distillate, and because of it's molecular structure, you can pour a pint of it into a quart of oil and it fits in between the larger oil molecules. It will not overfill the container.

Ethyl alcohol is another term for ethanol. I'm not sure if that's what's in Seafoam, but if it is, it wouldn't make any sense to add it to gasoline for winter storage. Adding more ethanol to the gasoline would just make things worse.
Yeah. People pay extra for ethanol-free gas for winter storage and small engines. The last thing I would do is add ethanol to gas.
Seafood isn't ethanol, or at least it isn't primarily ethanol.
I step outside to spray it. I could use Hoppe's outside too, I guess, but I like to sit in my comfy chair inside while cleaning guns so that I can glance up at the TV from time to time.Hoppe's bugs the wife but brake cleaner is OK? Interesting!
Hopes number 9 to clean the bore. I will probably be scolded but wd40 has always been on the outside of my weapons.
