"Secret Handshake" symbol

Symbol

I think I know where you are coming from. Robert Heinlein referred to a similar universal symbol of recognition among the loyal opposition in one of his books. :) Can't remember which one just now. Obviously, I have forgotten enough of the great books I have read that they are candidates for rereading. CRSS, don't you know. :banghead:

I always liked the one where you shake hands, put your left hand under the elbow and sight down their arm like a rifle.

Darn, I thought it was the alchemical symbol for lead :)

That's not a bad idea actually. And they look pretty cool too:

Edit: These are all symbols used at one time for lead.

So, what is the alchemical symbol for lead? I like the wood/steel/lead all together idea.

The secret handshake is subtle, automatic, and you acquire it with training and frequent handling of arms.

It's unconciously keeping your trigger finger slightly straighter than normal.

That "secret" is already common among martial artists.

That's kind of funny. When I shake someone's hand, I notice that I only grip with my middle, ring, and pinky fingers. My index finger usually stays straight and rests along the other person's wrist. My own private gunny handshake, I guess. :)
