Securing tac light remote pressure switch?

I'm trying to get the remote pressure switch for my tactical light to stick to the forend of a shotgun. It came with adhesive-backed velcro, but that's not strong enough to keep the velcro on the forend.

What methods can I use (including permanent) to secure the velcro or pressure switch to a plastic forend?

Get a roll of 3-M body molding tape at the auto parts store.

Clean all the oil & hand prints off the stock with rubbing alcohol.

Apply.

I used hot glue. But I know there is some REALLY tacky tapes that would hold stronge such as RC has noted.
