Semi-automatic HD shotgun

First off, I am new to shotguns.

I'm looking for a relaible high capacity semi-automatic 12 ga. Does remington and mossberg manufacture something geared towards the home defense/tactical markets? Please let me know why your suggestion is a good choice. Thanks.
