I just saw "Out of Gas" for about the eight time since I've owned the DVD set (a few weeks). The background music is fantastic in the way it sets the tone.

Amazing the way the dialog and characters draw you in.

With all the different networks around, you'd think that somebody would pick up the show.

I just got my resin casting of Mal's pistol.



Now to try and figure out how to make a working one, rather than a brass-encased Taurus.

Cool. Your best bet to make a working replica is IMHO to go with a largely mocked up frame with a steel single-shot breaktop pistol at its core. Or even easier, a single-shot black powder pistol at the core. Then you can put whatever brass you want around it.
