Sexually insecure Dirty Harrys...

Regarding the statement that if you have a gun is because you want to kill someone, I would like to have a dime for everytime that I went out of my way (way out of my way) to avoid bad areas in town, touchy multitudes, and the many possibilities of violence in our daily modern existence. My residence does not depend primarily on my guns for its security. I've owned guns for over thirty years and have never shot someone. I always considered it a very last result, in the "gravest extreme," and the last option in a long series of prudent measures designed to prevent violence. As the man said, my guns have killed less people than Teddy Kennedy's car.

I may be up there when I am on my way to Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park if we have TIME this fall.

Take care. I am fun, nice and very serious at times too. Unfortunately for some places... I am far too politically INcorrect.

Posting at the bottom of the first page 'cause I gotta hit the sack.

While I am quite secure in my Manhood, I do have a somewhat under average apendege down south.

I DO NOT use gun(S) to pretend it's any bigger.

Gripper,

Thanks!

I am usually thinking of Independence Day, the Constitution, our Founding Fathers, how we 'were' - could be again and how much I want MY country back... grin.

It is the 4th of July for me almost every day of my life. Double grin.

I try not to let the you know WHO (Fill in the blanks.) in both parties get me down... I do a lot of venting... elsewhere.

Speaking of Dirty Harry and his cute guns... I saw 2 of them in a movie this past weekend. "Sudden Impact" had his usual S&W Model 29 revolver and the semi automatic 44 one... the name escapes me on that one right now. Someone can give me the name on THAT semi automatic one.

I said all of the lines out loud and to my husband in all of the right scenes. Ha ha!

Sudden Impact quotes. I had to delete the LINK because it had some 'cuss words' from the movie.

Crook: [during a diner robbery] What's you doing, you pighead sucka?

Harry Callahan: Every day for the past ten years, Loretta here's been giving me a large black coffee- except today she gives me a large black coffee and it has sugar in it. Alotta sugar. I just came back to complain.

Crook: Say what, sucka?

Harry Callahan: Well, we're not just gonna let you walk out of here.

Crook: Who'se we sucka?

Harry Callahan: [slowly drawing his .44 Magnum] Smith and Wesson... and me.

Oh Harry... sigh.

As I said before... I have had a crush on him since I was a KID when he was in Rawhide! I hope to see "The Outlaw Josey Wales" again soon.

Take care and have an outstanding week!

Live free or die!

"I've heard that phallic-symbol argument before, and always from ineffectual people driven to make everyone else as helpless as they are. Who's more confused, those that think weapons are sexual organs or those who want to take everyone's sexual organs away?" - L. Neil Smith, The Probability Broach, page 111.

more guns you have in your house, the more you, some member of your family, or your kid's schoolmates are likely to bite the dust.

This liberal is claiming he's immortal because he doesnt' own a gun?
The chances of dying are 100%, with a few miraclous exceptions.

It is distressing to me that an article that is full of ad hominem arguments and devoid of citation has made its way into journalism.
Does anyone actually read this stuff?

It was a.44 Auto-Mag.

If you own a handgun it's because you want to be able to kill people at will.

While I like shooting at tin cans the 'be able to kill people at will' concept does speak to me and my sense of self-preservation and love for my family.

Man, what a schmuck.
