My wife is not as big of a gun fanatic as my boys and I but she enjoys shooting and has a gun of her own - a Colt Detective Special.
It was a friend's gun, she shot it, and really liked it. I bought it for her birthday a few years ago and she shoots it every once in a while. She has always liked to shoot my Kimbers but for some reason she liked the revolver.
This last week I picked up a Stainless Dan Wesson/CZ Bobtail Classic in 45ACP and brought it home. I threatened not to show her because I thought she might fall in love with it. She always claims any stainless auto I bring home as hers. I guess stainless looks like pink to her eyes.
We share everything but you can't exactly share a CCW. She saw me carrying the Dan Wesson over the weekend in my Rafter S leather that she bought me for Christmas a while back and I think it made her start thinking......and you know what happens when they start thinking.....
Tonight we are driving along and she says "Would you mind if we sold my revolver?" I told her no and asked why. "I don't seem to like it as much as I thought I would." I looked at her with a smirk and asked if she liked the Dan Wesson. She smiled back.
Tomorrow night is ladies night at the local range so we are going to go try it out together. I have a feeling that she will like it. Is this a good or bad problem? I guess I should feel blessed that my wife is into guns but this may get expensive.
