Shot my new XDm .45 4.5 today

I went to the range today and shot my new XDm .45 4.5 as well as my XDs .45 for the first time since the recall was performed.

I shot 50 rounds of Federal 230gr fmj and 20 rounds of Hornady Critical defense through the Xdm.

I was shooting at 7 yards unsupported. I was really impressed with the accuracy of the XDm. It was 100% reliable and soft shooting as well. I think it became my new favorite

I put my new Streamlight TLR-1s on it, and in a week or so, will be sending the slide off to have night sights installed.

Very nice....I have a soft spot for any fullsized 45.

Can't argue with those groups that's for sure.

As I was shooting, I just kinda laughed a little. I couldn't believe how accurately I could shoot it. It really surprised me. I was definitely impressed.

Very nice! I've been debating over the 4.5 and the 5.25 myself. Still not sure which I want.

Those guns are definitely something to consider, I love my xds and can't wait to get it back, I can't fit a 1911 in the same space, no matter how much I try. I pocket carry the XDS, and it hides as well as my Kahr, better than the 40 Shield I got rid of.
