First time out with my boy- he did better than I expected, despite his ADHD and sensitivity to noise!

Thanx Duke, but I can't take credit for it. I can only take credit for part of the inspiration. I found the gun at a local shop with the barrel, reciever and tube already painted. After I bought it, I sent the furniture to Bob Lumpkin of www.nouglyguns.com for the desert paint job. As you can see, he does great work, and I wholeheartedly recommend him for any of your camo needs.

It's the only pick that I could find of my Nova. I installed the 2 round extended magazine, but forgot to tighten down the support bracket. It walked up after 2 doz 2-3/4 slugs". Ouch!

Just a couple I own

Mossberg 835 12 guage. A good shooter. With a modified choke it knocks the bunnies and birds down good. Cant wait to slip in the extra full and some 3 1/2" for turkey season.

Sloans SG & Sons 10 guage dbl barrel. It was given to my by my stepfather. He used it for ducks and geese back in the mid 70's. I promised that I wouldnt get rid of it. Plan on getting it reblued, new wood and put in a showcase for him.

Winchester 1400 with a 26' vent rib barrel. Also have a smooth bore 24 inch rifle sight barrel for it.

I havent forgotten Zeb. :D

Im just waiting for a girlfriend of mine to come over for some pics, but I wil post something new today. ;)

I think the Winchester 1897 is the most beautiful looking shotgun. Dad had one and gave it to my brother for Christmas when he discovered my brother was going to buy Norinco imitation.

I've seen Betty in Oleg's picutres before but had no idea she's a member here.

PLEEEASE tell me you're joking (or at least were unaware that Betty was/is the member formerly known as "Runt Of the Litter")

then again there HAS been a severe drop off in her postings of late compared to "how things were when I signed up" <-said in fake old geezer voice (note when i signed on)

Things just would NOT have been the same without Runt/Betty around this place

For those who came in late, Betty's a founding member of THR, and an articulate and staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. She's also beautiful.

Good to see you post again....

Betty is all that and more.
Sure like the looks of that Wingmaster.

I agree '97 has a character like no other. Humm, Maybe I need to threaten to buy inexpensive imitations...never thought of that angle :D
