Whoops, that's not 922(r) compliant with the large magazine unless you've swapped out some internals on the gun.

Yeah he didn't change any internals, he's still got the stock trigger setup, and the stock buttstock and handguard. Only thing he could have changed was maybe the puck and piston which still makes him not 922r compliant. I don't think his MAK90 with 30 round mag is compliant either.

Judging just from the photo, it's a circa-1955 #4 Mk2 .303 made by Royal Ordnance Factory Fazakerly in Britain. The date and manufacturer ("ROF") should appear on the left receiver wall.

You can change the S-12 FCG out for US parts without relocating the trigger and guard a la most "conversions" -- IIRC, if he changed out the FCG and the puck/piston and only used US-made mags, he would be okay on parts-count.

(But it's been a while and my "922-math" may be off... and there's an imported mag in the picture. )
