That Mosin pistol makes me grin every time I see it. What's the recoil like?

I love that GSG5! How's the function with bulk-pack ammo? I've heard mixed reports.

As long as it's 40gr HV ammo then your good, I found some decent federal bulk packs in
Walmart that seem to feed and cycle well. Anything like the Remington golden box and it's a jam-o-matic.
It also needs to be kept super clean, complete break down is a bit labor intensive compared to other rifles.

Yeah he didn't change any internals, he's still got the stock trigger setup, and the stock buttstock and handguard. Only thing he could have changed was maybe the puck and piston which still makes him not 922r compliant. I don't think his MAK90 with 30 round mag is compliant either.

The internals have been changed since the pic. And the mags are USA made, not foreign.

And its not a MAK-90, its a Hungarian SA-85m that I bought pre-ban in 1988.

And that is a 40 round RPK mag.

Thanks for the concern.

And you don't know what I have or have nor done- becareful making assumptions.

Even though the mags are USA-made, you're still over the parts count for foreign guns. :)

Like I said above, not necessarily.

The S-12, as imported, has 14 "countable" parts under 922 (13 for those without threading/muzzle device), so at least 4 must be eliminated if you want it to no longer be considered "imported" under the law. (ETA: 5 if the PG in question is imported.)

The magazine counts for three of those (body, follower, floorplate), so as long as he has changed out at least one internal imported part for a domestic part (or two if the PG is imported) and exclusively uses USA-made mags, he should be okay.

I personally wouldn't trust the mag as part of my mandatory count unless I sold/got rid of all imported mags/mag parts... and even then I would be leery. (Just me.)

But he said he swapped internals, so I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, personally. :)

So you're miffed that people are concerned that you were breaking a law? You're actually annoyed that people want you NOT to get arrested? :scrutiny:

That's a Kel Tec P3AT. I made the little kydex holster and pocket carry it with the clip. It looks like a knife sticking out of my pocket. since only the clip shows. When I draw it the "hook" of the holster grabs the pocket and the gun pops out . Works like a charm.

My wife actually carrys this one 99% of the time but I carried it a great deal on vacation in Kissimmee/Orlando this year.

I usually carry the P64 shown in the two pictures above the P3AT.
