Show Me Your Arsenal (Pic Heavy)

It has recently been suggested to me that some gun owners are not unlike women who ravenously amass large collections of handbags or designer shoes, buying several types of the same firearm just to have them. Out of curiosity, I have decided to start a thread detailing my own modest little arsenal and inquiring about that of others. If you wish to participate, please include the following information, limiting it to handguns (pistols and revolvers).

1. Number of Handguns
2. Models
3. A rough estimate of the amount of $$ you have tied up in your collection
4. A picture (or pictures if necessary) of your collection.

Don't take this the wrong way, I rarely argue over semantics but I don't have an arsenal, I have guns.
Isn't the word arsenal what the media usually uses to imply an unreasonable amount of firearms? (whatever that may be).

Glock 34
Taurus 24/7 .40
Walther P22

Since I began the thread, I will be the first to post.

I. Four Firearms

II.
-Glock 17
-Kahr K9
-Kimber Custom II
-Rossi .38 J-Frame

III. I paid $519 for the Glock, $470 for the Kahr (lightly used), $650 for the Kimber, and $0 for the Rossi (was my Dad's backup gun and given to me as a gift. All told I have about $1,650 in my guns, which is a lot of money for me.

IV. Here's a Picture

First off, thanks for posting.

Second, I rarely take things the wrong way. I like the word arsenal. I don't let the media, political correctness, or anything else dictate how I speak.

Third, I didn't use it incorrectly. :D

Some of the handguns I have, sorry but I have no figures to post, I probably should hire an accountant.

nice broom handles

i have a lot, spent more than i should, have less than i want but more than i need.

Can't say I agree with the terminology either....mine are not weapons, they are firearms unless used in an offensive manner. Mrs Rembrandt's iron skillet and butcher knife are not weapons either unless she finds out I bought another gun.

Term weapon is engrained in law enforcement and military training because of the nature of their profession.

Have too many in the collection to post them all....maybe 60-70, someday I'll have to count them.

Showing my collection would be like showing a pic of where I hide the spare house key....:scrutiny:

Kevinch,

I don't think anyone can pinpoint where you live just by your posting your gun collection.

You MIGHT have an 'arsenal' if one weekend a month, the local NG comes by and needs to 'borrow a couple of guns' to retrain all their guys..:D

Well, if the thiefs want to come to my house they may not like what they find. Wife with a shotgun, big dog, pissed off very nosey neighbors and an alarm system. Figure the cops will show up before they can torch through the safe. Wife, nieghbor and dog will probably be shot. Will miss the dog, probably the wife. Won't miss the nieghbor. But the guns will be safe. ;)

ONE non-functional SKS, because for the life of me I can't get that damn firing pin retaining pin back in.

and ONE Ruger 22/45

You guys have it made =(.

I'd give anything for a decent 9mm...considering some of your collections, I could probably borrow 2 or three before anyone noticed!

edit: I know this is a bad question to ask on a gun forum but...LexusNexus, Why FIVE tec-9s?!

Yeah, and add to the fact that if that's you holding that AR, forget the firearms, with upper arms like those, there is NO WAY any sane person is going to break into your house.
