Wow, is that as black as it is in the photo?

Well, truth be told... It's a bit lighter than that (as the Smith is), but close enough.
It also depends on your monitor. Mine is a 24" Apple iMac and it's color calibrated. So, on my screen, it's pretty close.

My two Springfield "Loaded's". (Two-tone Micro is a lightweight)

I wonder how those dragon grips look on a stainless 1911...?

Also, what's the blackest 1911 currently on sale?

Man there's alot of nice 1911s on here. Thought I'd share too... though mine is just like any other normal 1911. Enjoy:

YEA... its bipolar lol

This is what I love about 1911's 20 different pics so far and not a one of them looks anywhere close to the other. Each 1911 is personified by the owners individual tastes and is therefore unique!

Here they are on my Dan Wesson Patriot that I just sold (kept the grips, of course).

Here is my pair of Caspian Customs.
On the left, 5" stainless by EGW retuned & perfected by Michael Bay.
On the right, a 4.25" blued over titanium Yost masterpiece.
Both are dressed in linen Micarta stocks.
