RIA mid-size (traded away ) I really miss that 1911. It was the perfect carry pistol.

S&W 625JM — The grip is pretty, but uncomfortable for me. It now wears a Hogue monogrip w/o finger grooves. Much better. Makes me look good at the range.

How has the SR 1911 performed for you? Saw a Govt size in person recently. Seemed well fit to me. Liked what I saw for sure.

Great’ I shoot it better than I do the 5” SA. ( The Ruger sights are better, IMHO.)

Forgot to add this piece. It’s my only Colt. Surprisingly it shoots as good as some of my five inch 1911’s. All steel, match bushing, 3 lb. Trigger and Wilson Combat flat wire recoil spring. Steel frame with black tea finish.

Those Sistema Colts are nice, real sleepers every so often.
Have you gone here: https://www.colt.com/serial-lookup to check if it's Hartford-built? Not that the Argentine ones are really any the lesser.
