Ok, I wanted to start a new thread after the second trip to the range, along with a few pics.
Here is the story. Monday, first time out with a Factory Certified Sig 220, it had several failure to feeds with wolf 230 grain fmj, and blazer brass 230 grain fmj. We used two different magazines which came with the gun.
Today are the range we had one factory new magazine for it (all 3 mags are 8 rounders), and we ran speer lawman and PMC's through it today. Same result. One magazine had 5 jams out of 8 rounds.
In the last thread someone suggested that I chamber a round then bring it out a little bit and it should sag, but when I checked it was holding the round very tightly.

Now to see if I can get some pics up on here.

Yeah, only took about 5 tries, and in the end it wasn't even me that got it right.

Must be Sig Sauer's turn in the bucket this week ...

I already posted some thoughts over in the other P220 threads

Why not simply call Sig Sauer and ask them to examine it? Beats continuing frustration. Less expensive, too.

You have one of the US made slides with the 'new' .45 extractor.

If I had to guess I'd think they'd probably install a new extractor, as well as give the whole pistol a careful examination while they had it back.

This is all presuming the pistol is properly lubricated, the barrel isn't too tight, the recoil spring isn't damaged (spring core receding or spring elements spreading), magazines clean & dry, etc., etc..

If you haven't already done so, why not check out the guides (.pdf download and video clips) available at the Sig Sauer website? Handy info for owners/users ...
