Sig 228 vs. HK P7 Group Therapy

I was wondering if you guys would chime in and help me with my "problem"

I don't need another gun, but I WANT one. I cant decide between a German made p228 of an HK P7. I know the guns are vastly different. I want both, but only one right now. What say you?

I think that the P7 is a little harder to come by. Get it first and add the P-228 later. Either way you can't go wrong.

Have both and I got the SIG first. If I had the choice today I'd go for the P7.

H&K P-7

If you are look at the German LE trade-ins, you'd better hurry. The supply of them is drying up fast at $700-$800. The m8 is still available at ~ $1200.

The natural competitor to the H&K P-7 is the Sig P-6. The German and Swiss Police trade-in one are still pretty easy to get at ~400

There are a bunch of 228s still available, they released some 228Rs last year...and you'll have the option of getting a 9mm 229
