Bought a new Sig C3 this week and get her to the range today. First, let me say that the gun itself is awesome. However, the mags that came with the gun were junk. I had found other posts about people saying to scrap the mags and get some Wilson Combat's or Kimpro's, but didn't realize how crappy they'd be. The issue I had was the 6th or 7th (usually 7th) round would actually seem to be jumping out of the mag and causing a jam and some even flew out from the gun. I then used my full size Kimber and purchased a couple compact Wilson Combat's and had zero issues. Again, gun is awesome when you change the mags. I'm curious about 2 things though. Have others here experienced the same issue? Also, my mags did not say Sig Sauer on the bottom like my also recently purchased P938 does. For those who own a C3, does your mags say Sig Sauer. Mine just have 45 acp stamped.

You're buying a gun from them and they can't even supply a working magazine?

The mags are the weakest link in any auto/semi auto. However, I'd be calling SIG and complaining, they should make good on those mags under warranty.

That is messed up!

It's not like SIG is an inexpensive handgun nor that good/excellent 1911 mags are a scarce item.

I'm worrying more and more about what SIG is doing these days. They used to be a top tier maker in my mind and one I always suggested to people but I'm not sure about that now.
