My Sig P6 will be here next week. In preparation, I've ordered a spare parts kit which includes:

    Recoil Spring
    Trigger Bar Spring
    Slide Catch Lever Spring
    Decocking Lever Spring
    Outer Roll Pin
    Inner Roll Pin
    (4) Grip Screws
    (4) Grip Screw Washers

I've also ordered Wolff magazine springs and hammer spring.

I'm planning on installing all of the new springs immediately. Anyone know of a link with more information on the disassembly of a Sig P series pistol?

Also, what should I look for when the gun is apart, are there any other parts that should be replaced?

    Thanks!

What can be done to fix a heavy trigger pull, without sacrificing reliability?

Do I need the little metal plate that the spring sits on?
