Hey guys. I've been looking for a new concealed carry piece and wondered if anyone has experience with the Sig P250 Subcompact? I have a couple of small pieces but want a little more capacity than I have now. I have a Kahr PM9 which is an amazing weapon but I want more than the 6 rounds it carries.

My brother in law let me shoot his Ruger SR9c and it's a nice piece but it only holds 10 rounds. A step up from the 6 in the Kahr but not as much as the 12 in the Ruger. I've shot the compact Glocks and XDs and just didn't like the way they handled.

So, opinions on the Sig? I'll have to buy it never having shot one.

I have a P250, and it is a very good gun. However, and be sure to put some thought into this, it has a very long trigger pull. Smooth as glass, and about 6.5 lbs, but a very-very long DAO trigger pull.

If you can get past that, then it's a great gun. I'd consider it to be an ideal carry gun since it has no safeties and the 9mm mag holds 12.

I personally do not like the P250 line of pistols. The LONG trigger pull is just a no-go for me. It is also thicker than the SR9c. I would take the SR9c over the Sig.

Another to look at though, is the S&W M&P9c, I would take it over both the Ruger and the Sig, and it has 10 and 12 round compact mags available, and can take FS M&P 17 round mags.
