Finally manufactures thinking about us lefty’s. Picked up new sig 365 with many saftey

If I ever see one with a safety I'll probably buy it too.
I have pistols without safeties, but with a trigger as light as the one on the 365 I fondled, I want a safety.
Yes, I'm also a lefty.

First one I saw had a safety. It went home with me.
Got promoted to EDC the next day.

Safety very accessible and easy

That was my thought exactly the first time I tried that trigger. That light of a trigger made a manual safety a necessity not on option.

I don't find the P365 particularly light by current standards. I do find it short.

Subjective Carry Gun Trigger Rating:
.
45 Shield - Best Trigger (Very smooth take-up, no creep, crisp break and just over 5lb).

M&P M2.0 Compact - Lightest Trigger (more take-up than than the Shield, some stacking then breaks at what feels like roughly 2/3 the Shield).

P365 - Shortest Take-up, rather long single-stage creep then breaks at near the same felt level of effort as the Shield.

PS Other than the Shield these are subjective trigger pulls not scaled.

Felt the same with me when I shot one. I would not buy one without a safety. In fact got rid of a nice gun that was too light and that one even had a safety. JMO. That said, many folks these days want the lightest possible trigger with shortest reset. Each to his own.
