• Possible Downtime Alert

I am working to migrate THR from the current cluster to a new one. I would like to get this done before the weekend, but it's unclear what the timeframe will be, as testing is still ongoing. As I am writing this the new (rebuilt) host is doing a burn-in to ensure that everything will keep running under load.

When the migration happens users will see a Cloudflare message indicatating it cannot connect to the server. This is expected, and depending on how the migration goes this may last from 30 minutes to 3 hours - I won't know more until testing the various migration options is complete and I have finalized the plan.

More information is available in this thread.

As always, thanks so much for your patience.

Sig Sauer P365 v Glock..?

I'm sure SIG was well aware of the value of a trigger safety, but wanted to avoid using one given how much flak Glock has taken over the years about it. I suspect Ruger had a similar idea that they were going to avoid using a Glock-type trigger safety when they originally released the SR9 with their own trigger safety design using a trigger shoe approach. Unfortunately that backfired as they later were forced to do a recall to retrofit the pistol with a very "Glockish" trigger safety.

I recall, prior to the “voluntary upgrade”, Sig bragging on their website that they could deliver a safe gun, good trigger pull, without the trigger dingus. I remember because once they started having issues that vanished from the website pretty quick. So they knew and made a choice.

As for Ruger, my SR9c and 40c had fantastic “Glock like” triggers, really did it well.

I have the 365 and the 365XL.I've compared them to the Glock 43 and 48,and the Sig pistols suit me better. My wife carries the 365 and I carry the 365XL.I have two Wilson Combat grip modules for my XL.One is the XL length that uses flush fit 12 round magazines and the other is the standard 365 length that uses 10 round magazines. The short grip makes the pistol a little easier to hide, but it's got two less rounds and is a little harder to hang onto. The longer barrel doesn't seem to me to make the pistol harder to conceal, but it does make it a little easier to shoot well.

Thanks for your input a recent Financial setback namely car problems caused me to delayed my purchase but I think I'm leaning towards the standard P365 because of the size of it

I have the 365xl with the standard grip module. It's a tough little combo to beat.

I also have a standard 365. I have configured the magazines to work in both. Native 10 rounders upgraded to 12.
Native 12 rounders upgraded to 14 with spacers. (Well before the mag ban)

Its a good setup with common mags. I had a few glocks, This is much better, for me. Like I said, it's tough to beat.
