Sig226 vs Beretta 92FS?

I've got a new 92FS that had numerous failures the first 150 rounds, hopefully I can get it straigtened out. Never had so much as a hiccup on my Sigs.

How new? I haven't personally seen a new one up close, but is the guide-rod a polymer or is it metal? Also, Italian or USA model?

Did you clean it before shooting?

What brand of ammo?

Factory mags?

I have both and prefer the 226 but not by much. The only thing I dislike about the Beretta is the shape of the backstrap compared to the Sig. It only comes into play when I shoot it a lot and then it becomes a little uncomfortable.

For those who were asking, my problem Beretta is Italian, brand new, factory mags, polymer guide rod, it was cleaned before shooting, and the ammo was Federal and Tula. It had problems with both. The factory says I have to pay to ship it back. :banghead:

Not the limp-wristing theory! :banghead: I shot it the same way I do my CZ, BHP, and Sigs, none of which have ever jammed.

I'm skeptical towards the polymer recoil spring guide rod, or even the spring... or Beretta messed up on a gun. Which, while not impossible, is still a matter of surprise for such an old, established design.
