No sales tax or shipping costs, either!
just no federal excise tax (whatever that is).
As I read it, it applies to current military (active, reserve, and retired) and any other fed agency. I think no tax unless you live in NH.
SigArms Website said:The program is open to current fulltime, reservist and retired personnel authorized under law to carry a firearm.
I hate to belabor the obvious, but is this offer for current or former military members, or am I misreading it entirely?

My question is, are these price cheaper than their direct dealer FFL prices? I have an FFL guy (who is a direct Sig dealer) that places orders for me at his cost + a $20 transfer fee.
It says officer on the website - I have a buddy in Iraq right now that will be coming back soon and wanting to get a SIG. Will he be able to use this if he is only a non-com?
Yes, where it lists documents to include, it lists current and "retired" IDs as being acceptable.
And yes, I'm sure the order applies to sweaties , too. The program is called "officer" but the order form just says "military." An E-7 is the one that turned me on to the program in the first place. Now, if Sig does have a program that excludes us working folk to only share toys with the Zeros, I think a massive boycott is in order
