It seems like I remember watching a Remington video a few years back (the video was from the 60s I think) and it showed a Remington engineer shooting through a bunch of old tires hung up to silence his shots.
I also seem to remember a picture in here, possibly @jmorris, using a barrel with a slit cut into it on each end to fire through which would probably net similar results.
Does anyone have any devices like this that they made for silencing rifles at the range.
Yeah, yeah, I know there will be a few chuckleheads who have to say to just get a can but not all my guns are threaded and I am not going to thread them. I probably won’t even do this but I like seeing the things people come up with for range work.
