Sling for a take down

Hi folks,

I have a takedown rifle. (1892 clone).

How do people sling theirs? Mine has no sling swivels and putting a clamp on the magazine tube doesn't seem to be a good idea as tube seems thin and can't take it down so easily...

Burrhead, I think you have a point. Just a little concerned about the metal in the fore-end cap. Doesn't look particularly thick to me.

Wondering about a Clamp mount on the hanger for the magazine tube as that looks to be farely solid.

Or, if I can find the answer from Taylor's, whether you can put a saddle ring on a Chiappa Alaskan.
