Who's got 'em and where did you get them?Pictures would help....I've gone back to the stock grips because they're shorter than the Hogues for carry(print less)..but I recall seeing some of your grips that are even smaller.thanks.

I don't know why you'd want smaller - the stock is just fine for me. It's ideal for carry and absorbs recoil nicely - something I can't say for the S&W factory grips which is why I use Pachmayr.

The Uncle Mike's (or maybe Butler Creek - same thing) grips for the SP101 have more of a round-butt profile and slim down toward the butt. They have a distinctly more easily concealable profile than the more-squared factory grips, IMO, being more rounded and tapered, but they are not really "smaller" than the factory grips. Less than 20 bucks.

Mastrogiacomo:the stock one's aren't really too big(or the Hogue's for that matter)I'm just trying to get closer to the size of a j-frame grip.If i'm going to ther range for an extended shoot of the sp I use the Monogrip.. ;)

sp101 short grip for that snubbie..........

:neener: looking for a short grip for that snubbie ruger try badger custom grips if you want a facy wood ones or if you want a ruber one try packmar grips they make a short one to for the sp101 hope this was of help to you all :D

Badger grips work pretty well for me.

I use the Uncle Mike's boot grips on mine. Two reasons, fits in the front pocket of my jeans and changes the felt recoil giving me a faster second shot.
Those Badger grips sure are pretty though!

Those are the grips I have on my J frame. The hard grip of the S&W always require a grip change for comfort shooting long term at the range.

I have to admit, I'm beginning to get the hots for those Badger grips. Maybe on my GP100 3 inch since I'm totally satisfied with the stock grips for my SP101 .357 (the only time this has ever happened with factory grips). The Pachmayr Compacts look interesting too.

I got the Pachmayr Compac grips on mine. They work beautifully for CCW.
I got it on Auction Arms.

Lots of nice grips out there for the SP101. I have to say though that the factory grips are some of the nicest I have ever had for a concealed revolver, especially a .357.

They are soft enough to soften recoil and just big enough to comfortably fit the hand without being over large, and they are one of the very few grips that i have been able to locate that would adhere to the hand but *not* to clothing.
