Went back today and bought another 150 rounds of the CCI standard velocity. Nice!

i went back today 2 days later the fed automatch was gone but the $40/300 rd boxes of winchester are still there. i left them. i have never bought and shot more than 10 cents a round of 22lr.

All I've seen at "our" WM has been 28 ga. shotgun shells. Quit looking.
My friend just bought four boxes of that exact .308. Cabela's had it for 25$ a box, but I can't say if that's good.

The one here has CCI Mini-Mag HP's, Federal Auto Match, and the retro Winchester. Some shotgun and Rifle ammunition. No pistol ammunition.

Seems like walmart is flooded with the 325 round packs for 21.97. Scored 11 boxes in the past week or so. That should carry me till the middle of the summer. I have been trying to do 100 rounds a week now. I went crazy and went thru 5000 rounds in a few months with the glock 44.

They had both also, those $40 dollar yellow boxes have been there for a while now.
I've also seen the yellow boxes down here. Haven't looked all that closely, but they weren't boxes I'd seen before, so they caught my eye.

If we are thinking the same thing. its a "special edition" winchester super X. I bought a box not knowing the price. There is nothing special about them besides the vintage looking box.
I'll take a peek on my next WM run.

Oh, sorry. I thought those were the ones you were looking for, and not looking for the yellow boxes for 40 dollars.
Believe me, I wouldn't turn down the ones you have in the picture, but it was the yellow ones I hadn't seen before.

The ones in the pic are only $21.97 per box of 325. And they are clean and reliable. I used up 2 boxes and only had malfunction. Which I assume was the guns fault for not being clean and not the ammo fault. Can not recommend that federal enough in this ammo drought.
It looks like those are Federal Automatch? If so, yeah, those are good stuff. I've got a few boxes set back, but I need to grab more. Well, 'need' might be a bit of a strong word . . .

I went back last weekend. They had the ammunition that I wanted, but I stood there for 10 minutes waiting for an employee to get there. Then I got irritated and left. I bought cleaning supplies at another store instead, lol. And looked at Tikka rifles that I can’t afford right now.
Them CCi 50 pack's go quick around here, they can't keep them on the shelf. Father managed the tire shope for 12years at walmart, everytime he went to look, the shelf was empty. then he talked to the stockers, and acheaved a friendly "we will be stocking the CCi shelf in an hour" and managed to snag them pretty often after that.

I made my run and took the aforementioned peek. The yellow boxes I'd seen were also Winchester Super X.
