Here is my M1A, one of the early ones in the 1200s serial number range.

Oooh, a short barreled one :)

Gotta love the AIs. Without a doubt my favourite bolt gun since the 'classic' pre-1945 rifles. In fact, when resting, it's the most fun to be had with a bolt that I can think of - just dosn't have the character of, say, a K31 or an Enfield.

Here's mine:

J&T 24" bull barrel upper mated to an Eagle Arms lower with RRA innards and a two-stage trigger tuned to break at 2.8 lbs.

A friend of mine let me shoot ground squirrls with this a few years ago. A bit undergunned but I believe in giving them a sporting chance.

A remington 700P .300 Win mag with an IOR 10x56T and harris bipod. Consistent 1200 yard shots using TTI armory 190 grain rounds. Closest group was .65 MOA. Lots of fun. Don't mind the recoil so much as I learned to shoot centerfire rifles with an Enfield 1917 shooting 180 grain rounds. Kinda hard kicking.

.243 WSSM, 7 rounds per mag.

.308 and gets clover leaves at 100 yards off bags if I do my job. So consistant and accurate I hardly ever shoot it since I finished load development. Maybe I should play with the BOSS. That might be a good excuse. :)
