So has the election compelled you to buy anything?

Reloading supplies! I just ordered another 2000 Ranier 40 S&W bullets from Midway for $180 on sale.:D This will be on top of the 2000 rounds I already have loaded. I'm gonna ask for some powder for Christmas, probably 4 lbs of Longshot, then I'll have 14 lbs of pistol powder total. I've already got 10,000 small pistol primers, so I'm good there.:) Lastly, in January, when Midway does the birthday sale for me, I'll probably order a couple more 12 rd magazines for my XD and some 357 bullets.:)

As far as factory rifle ammo, I'm good to go, 22LR is stocked up as well.:D

The problem I have is I feel like I'm already surrendering. The actions I have taken are acts of surrender, acts presumed and compelled by the impending doom before us.

At this particular time, I didn't see another option. :(

The world as we know it is changing.

I'm getting ready to pick up some more magsand ammo, and I got an AR lower last week. Cant be too careful without knowing for sure whats coming.

2 AKs. An AR. Lots of ammo. Of course, I probably would have bought some of it even if both candidates were rabidly pro 2a.

This election has driven practically every choice I've made this season.

And it won't stop after the election for me.

Well partially because of the election, partly to sate a longing desire for one, but I picked up a Romanian AK-47. I've got more on my wishlist, but I figure a case of ammo, two more magazines, and a folding stock will finish me up.

I want more, but the way I see it, I need to stock up on mags for AK before everything else; and the folding stock just to have it in case of a ban. I'll get a case of 7.62 in case of a tax increase or other supply problems. No sense in buy more guns that I don't have mags for, and can't feed if I did, right?

Speaking of which, um, anybody got AK mags they're itching to sell/donate?;)

I'm with El Tejon.

Yes I bought a "few" in the last couple months. No more than originally intended, just faster.

Any ammo that I shoot at a decent price. Bought tons of AR mags (44), and quite a few(22) M1A 20-rounders from 44mag on their sweet sale.

Next is reloading components...:cuss:

A few have asked why I am stocking up, I tell them, and they ask what I will do with it all if the sky doesn't fall? Does not matter to me, it will all be shot or used at some point.

I may have to get into the savings account...

Get out and VOTE!
The pro-gun candidates have been farther behind than this in the polls before, at this exact same point in time, and won. A massive gun owner turnout is needed.
Both candidates don't like civillians having semi auto military style rifles so another AK seems appropriate.
I urge you to research this, one of the candidates voted against the '94 ban.
4- 10-22 steel-lips mags
I hear the tactical innovations magazines are pretty good, and if a ban happens, you'll want durability.

I'm buying an AR-15, and am making sure that every single part that goes into this thing will last forever. Some paranoid part of me thinks that if Obama is elected, he'll make it so that spare gun parts are individually serialized, and need transfer paperwork. It's sure not that far off from ammo serialization.

And I've got 1,020 rounds of .223 on the way, and 600 bullets for handloading .40.

I've been stocking up on full-capacity mags, reloading supplies and ammo cans for two years now. Got dies & brass & bullets for every caliber I own plus some I don't.

Of course, all this preparedness means nothing if they out-and-out ban them- you can't use them, display them, talk about them...

Best bet is join an RKBA group and make your voice heard.

I'm saving up for my first AR. Call it the stereotypical "AWB Rifle." I have other semi-auto "assault weapons" but IMHO an EBR is necessary for any gunnie who wants to stick it to the anti's. I'm thinking about sending my Lower off to get engraved with her name: Nancy. I would name it after Obama, but I only give my military rifles girls' names, so Rep. Pelosi will have to do.

I bought a Saiga 12 and put a 20 round drum on order as a direct result of fearing a ban.

I'm going to order 10 of the 20 rd G3 mags, and 2 30 rd steel mags as well.
