Many of us buy things at local shops that cost a bit more, but you get better service. If you know what you want and don't need help, nothing wrong with shopping at a place that saves you money. Just don't expect too much. And look at it as a way to educate someone instead of getting steamed...you may be able to bring another one into the fold. If I had a dime for every WalMart employee I took out shooting....uh, I'd still be a dime short I guess.

When they ask pistol or rifle at WalMart when I buy 9mm I always say "both" (even though I don't have a 9mm carbine). That's always good for a waker-upper.

I'll have to try "submachine gun" or "neither" next time.

:D

Yeah, I know how you feel, I went in to the local Wal-Mart looking for a case of British Mills No. 23 Mk. 2 grenades and the clerk instead hauls out a box of German M24 stick grenades and tries to tell me they are the same thing!

:banghead:

It took about five minutes to get everything cleared up.

At my local Walmart the register indicates whether the ammo is for a pistol or riffle. Oddly enough wolf 7.62x39 is pistol ammo and everything else in the caliber is for a riffle.

I really don't know where you guys come up with these Wallyworld stories!!
The clerks at my WM usually have what I want (2 boxes WWWWB 9mm) setting on the counter as soon as they spot me coming!!
Occasionally, I through then a curve and get something else, but not often!!! :D

The lady  that usually waits on me just bought her husband a 30-30!!

The only thing they didn't know about was 9mm Makarov!!
