Sold the FM Hipower Bought an STI Spartan 9mm

Sad day (sort of). Really really wanted to love the FM hipower copy I picked up awhile back, but I was just too inconsistent with it.

Sunday, it went to a happy new owner, and yesterday I placed an order for a STI Spartan in 9mm. Heard some good things about STI around the web, looking forward to trying it out. Supposedly it'll be here on Friday!

Traded both my HPs in the past year to fund a Brown and a Wilson 1911; kinda ashamed to have let them go but I just wasn't enjoying them any more. I do enjoy my new guns, though I feel a little incomplete without a HP in the safe. Kinda like being nostalgic for an old flame, but sometimes you just gotta move on.

I still have my practical though. That one's a fine shooter, and just too purdy to let go of.
