I found this while surfing. This quote comes directly from the Brady Bunch's website . We as gun owners need to stop abusing our handguns. I know it is hard not to beat the %&^^ out of my handgun when it talks back .

CCW stands for carry concealed weapon, key word on carry. Thoes morons anger me

Reciprocity. Some states do not allow non-residents to carry concealed handguns but others grant "reciprocity" by recognizing CCW permit holders from other states, even if they lack equivalent standards or safety training. Reciprocity is dangerous because out-of-state visitors may not know a state's laws/customs or limits on where CCWs are valid.

Claiming that you didn't know what the law was on something, is not a valid defense to a crime you comitted. Kind of like how people try to get out of tickets because they "didn't know it was the law". If the law is published, then it doesn't matter if you know it or not. Its your responsibility to understand the CCW laws in a state your going to be traveling into.

That's legal in all of Colorado except Denver. Purely coincidentally, of course, non-Denver has a much lower violent crime rate than Washington, D.C.
