I'm wanting to buy a good .40 S&W and am considering either a Springfield XD tactical 5" or the Glock 22 and am curious if anyone has experience with both and which one they like better. I currently use a Glock 22 for work and am well familiar with it however there are a few things with it that I'm not to crazy about(i.e. the general feel and the sights). Just curious to see what else is out there and what you all have to say. I did a search and found a little on this but am curious to hear what everyone has to say about the .40 S&W. Yes the Glock is reliable and will shoot every time(always has for me) but I'd like to know if anyone has had this same great experiece with the XD. That is after all I think #1 Importance. However I'm still not 100% crazy about the Glock for a few small reasons. I've heard some great things about the XD and if its just as reliable as the glock then I'm thinking it'll be the winner. Also curious if any other good 40 S&W's are out there. I know 1911's are great but I like the safeties on the Glock and the XD as well as no external hammer. I want a "Keep It Simple Stupid" kinda weapon. Thanks
