Springfield XD vs Glock

When I removed the barrels from the glock and the xd, I stuck a round in there and tried to wiggle it around. The one in the xd has less movement than the glock. This might also explain why the glocks feed everything while the xd-40 does not. Once, I had 3 pmc 165 gr jam on the xd. I took the 3 out and put them in the magazine again and it jammed again, this is with the same rounds. I then put these 3 rounds in the glock +7 others and they all fired. The glock also eats wwb well while the xd does not. The glock is more tolerant with out of spec ammo while the xd needs quite selective for me but it seems like it has been fine once the magazines have broken in.

No offense to the above poster, but what are you smoking?? No one who has ever compared the two side by side could ever say that. I'm not saying that Glock is the better gun but as far as polymer goes, the XD has it beat by a long shot. I compared my XD40 service w. my friends Glock 23 side by side. One thing you will notice is that you can squeeze the glocks grip and it will give(cave in) slightly. This does not take too much effort. I challenge you to do that on the XD's grip. The polymer on the XD is the tougher of the two.

I wish I was but only stating the Truth I had a XD and let me tell you the polymer seemed cheap to me I would much rather have the glocks and in my OPINION the Glocks is tougher....If you like Croatia pistols more power to you but not me..
