Stag Arms Lower

I want to build an AR-15 as a home project. I was thinking of starting with a Stag Arms lower receiver. I am a stock Bushmaster owner but I think I will use any quality companies part (ie. cheap but good ) for this project. Is Stag Arms a quality company, is it military spec, and would you use there parts. I am also open to any other company recommendations. Thanks for any info.

You can sometimes pick up a Rock River Arms lower for a good price also

I think you will find the Stag Lower to be one of the best values in building an AR-15. It is mil-spec and I didn't have any trouble with the two that I used in builds.

I've built 3 ARs with Stag lowers. Excellent quality and fit. I recommend them to friends that want to build ARs.
