Stag AR's where to buy in IL

Hi All. I'm looking at picking up a new AR - Stag 15L w/carry handle LH version. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago and was wondewring if anyone knew of a good gun shop/dealer in the area they prefer or can get a Stag. Does anyone have any OTD costs on the Stag LH models. Their website only lists MSRP.

Not a direct answer to your question, but you can put a Stag complete lower and complete upper together for about $725 + shipping/transfer fees, not sure how that compares to their MSRP price. Usually that's a couple hundred in savings off of the complete rifle.

Most of the local dealers will probably order you one. I frequent most of the shops in the Western burbs...and can't recall seeing a Lefty Stag on the shelves (and being a southpaw, I always look for lefty friendly firearms) Megasports in Plainfield has a price matching offer. Just down the road are the guys at The Gun Shop and they usually has several brands of ARs available.

http://www.rbprecision.com is located in Illinois and has treated me well. They ship to your local FFL and you just go down and pay a transfer fee. If I remember right they have a list of FFL's on file on their website so if you see one near you it's as simple as calling them up and giving them your cc #.

+1 for RBPrecision.com. They are in Preemption, IL. Probably 2.5 hr drive from you. I used to work for them. Robert and Krista are GOOD people. They will get you whatever you need if they don't have it.
