Steven Seagal's "The Foreigner"

Now you're bringing up someone kicked-out of the American Pistolsmiths Guild as well as banned from 1911.org.

:banghead:
Ok, so all the bickering aside, what kind of gun WAS it in this movie I never even heard of? ;)

My favorite scene from any Seghal flik has to be at the end of The Patriot when all the NG's in MOPP IV are gathering flowers in their waterproof bags... :D

Some of those names really surprised me...

I mean really, Kevin Costner? Sean Connery? Steve Buscemi?

I was truly disappointed.

Apparently, it's okay to use guns in Hollywood, because it's not "real life."

Which would they rather have show up outside they're door when the bad guys show up, the ACLU or the LAPD?

No, it's ok because they are members of the elite and are exempt from the restrictions they wish to place on the rest of us.

It's the same lack of character that allows them to wring their hands and complain and rail on and on about the spread of AIDS and the risks of sexual promiscuity, but at the same time, play roles that run contrary to these posturings and their "strongly held beliefs."

Watch what you say about Tussy. He is as straight as an arrow.
Maybe you were refering to some other gunsmith or the gun prop man on the movie set.

I met Tussy at an Orange County Gun Show a few months back. He seemed to be a really nice fella. Had some examples of his work, and I was truly impressed.

I thought he was a good guy, but I only spoke to him for maybe five minutes or so. Just the same, he made a favorable impression on me.

Does anyone have a pic of this handgun?
Could it be one of those Arcus HP knock-offs with the finger rest on the triggerguard?

As far as Seagal, who gives a turkey?
I've read everything from
"I saw the guy at a range in San Diego and he couldn't hit the ground if he fell on it" to "He is firm in his belief of the right to keep and bear arms" to "he beats his wife" to "he is just another anti-gun celebrity who uses guns in his movies and is a hypocrite".
Personally, I have never met the man, so I am not prepared to pass judgement on him.

Thank you HKmp5sd, now that I have seen the gun, I am ready to give my considered opinion (really not worth much, but maybe I'm right on this one...;) )

It looks like a Ruger P90 to me. They put a suppressor on it and there you go. Now, I'm not sure, but if I had to guess (which I am doing right now), I'd say the Ruger...

Whatcha think?

I don't think it's a P90. On Segal's gun, the safety is mounted on the frame, not the slide. It also has a disassembly latch like the Beretta 92.

Well, at least his finger's in an appropriate place in the picture on the DVD cover...

HkMP5SD, thanks!

The artist's rendering is pretty close to the actual pistol. As you can see, they used an appropriately sized 'can'. I can't believe that nobody's got my question nailed yet.

I watched Executive Decision the other day (Segals best roll to date) and he totally covers the back of another SEALs head with his MP-5. That was completly disapointing, he usually has better weapon handling abilities.

Sorry, the MAB's not even close.

I'm wondering if this is some Hollywood prop guy's exclusive creation.
