Ok, so all the bickering aside, what kind of gun WAS it in this movie I never even heard of?
My favorite scene from any Seghal flik has to be at the end of The Patriot when all the NG's in MOPP IV are gathering flowers in their waterproof bags...
It's the same lack of character that allows them to wring their hands and complain and rail on and on about the spread of AIDS and the risks of sexual promiscuity, but at the same time, play roles that run contrary to these posturings and their "strongly held beliefs."
I met Tussy at an Orange County Gun Show a few months back. He seemed to be a really nice fella. Had some examples of his work, and I was truly impressed.
I thought he was a good guy, but I only spoke to him for maybe five minutes or so. Just the same, he made a favorable impression on me.
Does anyone have a pic of this handgun?
Could it be one of those Arcus HP knock-offs with the finger rest on the triggerguard?
As far as Seagal, who gives a turkey?
I've read everything from
"I saw the guy at a range in San Diego and he couldn't hit the ground if he fell on it" to "He is firm in his belief of the right to keep and bear arms" to "he beats his wife" to "he is just another anti-gun celebrity who uses guns in his movies and is a hypocrite".
Personally, I have never met the man, so I am not prepared to pass judgement on him.
Thank you HKmp5sd, now that I have seen the gun, I am ready to give my considered opinion (really not worth much, but maybe I'm right on this one... )
It looks like a Ruger P90 to me. They put a suppressor on it and there you go. Now, I'm not sure, but if I had to guess (which I am doing right now), I'd say the Ruger...
The artist's rendering is pretty close to the actual pistol. As you can see, they used an appropriately sized 'can'. I can't believe that nobody's got my question nailed yet.
It appears to be a modified French MAB. The picture above is not exactly what I was looking for but as close as I can find. I have seen MABs with 4 inch barrels. Now put front serrations on the gun. There you go.
I watched Executive Decision the other day (Segals best roll to date) and he totally covers the back of another SEALs head with his MP-5. That was completly disapointing, he usually has better weapon handling abilities.
