Stock Up Now!

There is no way Americans are going to give up their guns whether Hillary is elected or not.

Well, not all at once, but as long as they only outlaw machine guns, that's okay. And I guess guns with bayonet lugs, because no body needs those. Or heavy pistols. Oh, and high capacity magazines.

I guess if some point they outlaw rapid fire, multi shot weapons, that'd be okay. (like lever guns). And long range sniper type guns (like bolt action 700s).

Molan labe...sort of.

Oh, and if its time to bury it...IT'S TIME TO DIG IT UP.

Tinygnat- Don't use tin foil. The global warming may cause it to heat to dangerous levels. You need to use ceramic plate hats with level V ballistic protection or higher.

I'm largely immune. I have just about everything I like, and what I like is relatively low capacity, or not the subject of most banning legislation I've ever seen.
No gun owner is immune. They'll get to you in due time, have no misconceptions about that.

LOL at Titan6's post. :D

At first I thought Titan6 was a regular nutcase. Then I read
If you can't buy ammo used your best bet is to buy large quantities from small gun shops as they will then be more likely to ''bend'' a few laws for you when the government takes over and you need a resupply.

Then I knew he was something special.:)

semi-auto assault weapon

There is NO SUCH ANIMAL. "Assault weapon" is a meaningless term, unless used
to indicate a weapon with which someone has already been assaulted.

Here's one "assault weapon", but good luck making it semi-auto...

I alread have a VEPR 7.62x39 with a 20" barrel and a Marlin 60 .22LR. Before 2009, I intend to buy one more conventional AK, a Remington 870 with a Knoxx Spec-Ops stock and/or a Tromix 12-gauge and possibly an AR-15. As for handguns, I have an XD-40 with 4 12-round magazines, a S&W M&P 9mm Compact with (soon to be) 4 12-round magazines, a Bersa Thunder .380 CC with 2-round magazines and a Walther P22 with 2 10-round magazines. Before 2009, I will probably pick up at least one high-cap 9mm pistol with 4 or 5 magazines. I also want to get XD-40 SC and and XD-45 Compact, but those could potentially wait longer. With the possible exception of a really tricked-out .22 target rifle and maybe a nice .30-06 bolt rifle, that would give me about all the guns I want or need. At that point, I will likely focus on stocking up on ammo, reloading equipment and reloading supplies.

You are right JShirley.

Buy the SMAW used in a private party sale. Pack it in a 4'' PVC pipe. Seal the ends with JB Weld. Use at least 14 clean baby diapers as desicant to prevent corrosion. Bury it in your backyard. Plant a blackberry bush over it to keep the JBTs away. Use your GPS to record all the grids. Write them on paper, memorize and then destroy the paper by burning. Scatter the ashes in the oceans; half in the Pacific half in the Atlantic.

Set up an LP/OP on one of your liberal neighbor's property. Post a Molon Labe sign in your neighbors yard. Call the ATF anonymously and tell them that your neighbor has burried an unregistered fully automatic MK19. Observe the search techniques when the ATF comes out and learn how to best avoid detection. Don't break any laws when you do this.

...except for calling in a false report. Also not aware of any semi-auto MK 19s: since each round fires what would legally be considered a destructive device anyway, the rate of fire is immaterial.

I totally agree with your asumption, that "now is the time" to stock up on
all firearms, and firearms related gear; especially with the uncertainy that
is facing us with the upcoming Presidential election. That is one reason
that I have added several handguns, handloading supplies, and a highly
customized Ruger mini-14 (.223) to my growing collection. ;):D Now, I
need to add a couple of cases of .223 miltiary surplus rounds to help
feed the Ruger and my Colt M4~! ;):D

I absolutely agree with buying now. I'm getting 1 6th AR this week and I will get 7 more 30 round mags to go with it.

Stocking up is great. Everybody should do it! But also take the money you would spend on one AR or M1A, and save it for a campign contribution. And contribute to someone who can win even if he or she isn't perfect.

It's all fine and well to say that we support Tom Tancredo or Ron Paul or whoever, but they simply can't get elected. Spend your money helping someone who is mostly on our side and CAN get elected!

I'm stocking up now. 10 STANDARD capacity mags for every semi-auto I own at least. At least 200 rounds ball and 500 +p or +p+ HP's for every caliber I own. I know it's not enough but we still have 18 months before a dem takes office. Bush screwed us sooo bad that if Darth Vader ran for president as a Democrat he would win!

I think we need to also try and get more young people interrested in shooting sports. I remember when all my friends in high school would meet up after school (right after) and we'd go hunting or just go target shooting. We all kept a hunting rifle in the gun rack, behind the seat or in the trunk. Now that would land you under the jail, not to mention the lack of places for kids to shoot.

Once upon a time an little boy was born, the year was 1955.

He grew up, like others before him, like other boys and girls like him at the time, to work on Preserving Freedom.
All sorts of stuff from guns, JFK getting shot in Dallas, a Gun Control Act in the year 1968 and this getting involved continued, and still does...

Also Mentors and Elders spoke of always having put back .22 rim-fire ammunition, single shot .22 rifles, single shot shotguns, lots of factory shells and reloading supplies for shotguns.
Concern was, guns being "restricted" to regular folks and only Police and Military having certain "repeaters" and "calibers".

Still .38spl, 9mm, 45ACP, 30-30, 30-06 and components to reload, and guns to shoot these were hoarded back and it was suggested folks always have something put back.

How raised - what you do.

One can never be too careful. This is just the advice I give out for free.

For much more advanced advice send me money via pay pal and I will allow you controlled access to the secure areas of my web site where even better information on how to defeat the ambitions of the UN Army, Blackwater, Gog and Ma-Gog and little grey men. You also have to send me lots of personal information about yourself and several photos so that I know I can trust you and you are not part of the plot.

What I can promise you is a sure fire way to control your own destiny and influence the political leadership in this country.

I will send you on secret missions to infiltrate the NRA and get them to work towards removing gun laws and improving firearm safety. You will launch frontal attacks and boldly go to see your state rep and make him understand that if he does not help remove the traffic cameras you will help remove him from office by voting for someone else and encouraging others to do so.

There is no end to the machinations. Sure, stock up if you can but the real power play is to make the politicians work for you. Because if you don't, who will?

I own enough to protect my family under circunstances such as civil unrest, natural disasters etc. If you ever need your "huge stockpile" that would likely mean all out warfare on American soil. There will be much larger concerns and threat than the size of your stockpile will protect you from when the big stuff starts falling. If that happens you will likely need to be both armed and mobile. That big stockpile is heavy! But if it helps you sleep better, stockpile away. It is you right as a US citizen (so far).

Gosh, hasn't it occurred to you guys that 'the man' is reading and taking notes about what sort of firearms you all have acknowledged owning?

 [Sinister laughter fading into the background....]
