Went to a shop yesterday morning and they had several large bricks of 22LR - various brands, even. I bought one just because it's been a while since I've seen it. Made a quick stop back in the evening, and it was all gone. There's an old proverb that says you never have too much ammo. I mean there are the people who were buying all the .22 to make a profit. That's not what I'm talking about. If you keep it cool and dry, ammo will last forever.
Only 500 rounds...?personally, I think one should have 500 plus rounds of any caliber they own, in a variety of fmj and hp.
Amen to that, I figure 5000 rounds is more like itOnly 500 rounds...?
we are the ones that sometime create "panic" by buying impulsively over the stupid reasons.About .25/rd sounds good. I'd stock up on that because the next panic will double or triple prices... and that's where 9mm will be available.
What do you suggest the OP do, wait til there's a panic and THEN buy? He should be stocking up on ammo while it's on the shelves at a reasonable price. The ones who wait til the last minute are always the ones crying about shortages.buying unnecessary thousands of ammunition (while having several thousand already)
You can do whatever you want with your money, but we are the ones creating the " panic", by buying unnecessary thousands of ammunition (while having several thousand already), creating shortages and possibly jacking up prices for others
yeah, when my great aunt died , I had to clear her house , and I have found 30 years ofUnnecessary ammo...is such a thing possible?
