1) Sigsauer P226 SCT 20 rounds

http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/Sho...&productid=202

2) S&W M&P 17 rounds

Stay away from Glock. Go with quality.

Tell me how Glocks are not quality? They have the least moving parts out of any auto-loading pistol, the best finish, the most proven design, and there's proof of glocks being shot with hundreds of thousands of rounds without one part being replaced. So please, tell me how a glock is not a quality gun?

I usually just slip this one in my pants with a couple of 200 round bandleers of amno

M&P 9mm

Glock 17

XD 9mm

Sig 226

Glock 19 (you're still getting 15+1 capacity)

Beretta 92FS

And there are others (such as the FNP-9mm).

One I would wait on to get a longer-term quality determination on: Ruger SR9. Looks good and feels good, but not sure about quality just yet. Not bad in the way of prices, though.

Beretta

I say the best EVER hi-cap 9mm would have to be the Beretta 93-basically a 92
with a shoulder stock and 3 rd. burst capability!
If you want top shlef go top shelf!!!

There are 30rd mags for the Beretta 92 series. Not sure how much you want.

If you dont want a Intratec DC9 or MAC 10 like another poster suggested, you could get a Spectre M4, even though its more borderline of a sub-machine gun as gar as size goes http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg21-e.htm. I believe they are chambered in 45ACP too.

My ten speed has lees moving parts than my truck, but I think I like my truck better, I'm just wacky that way.

, the best finish,

Same finish as the M&P

the most proven design,

Uh, no, the 1911 would have that distinction.

and there's proof of glocks being shot with hundreds of thousands of rounds without one part being replaced.

As there likely are with a number of firearms, but they know what they are and have nothing to prove.

Even if everything you posted were true, if it doesn't shoot well for me, blows up with .40 S&W, and you can't shoot lead in it, well, it may be an o.k. gun, but it's not top quality.

I have a couple OEM 25 round mags for my CZ75. The mags were made for the full auto version of this gun and are pricy. They also stick out of the magwell quite a bit. But very reliable and fun.

SP-01 and FNP-9...

If you want a hi-round 9mm, go 'top-of-the-line' with the CZ SP-01... or, my second choice (agree with marshall and spyvie) go for the 'poly' FNP-9 (3 mags with 16 rnds each).
FNP-9 is the only 'poly' I own, and its truly a great gun... big-gun feel, fits perfect, 1000+rnds with NOT ONE FTF, FTE or jam-up, super-easy tear-down/clean-up... and a very accurate shoot!...all for about $425 NIB...
You will NOT go wrong picking either!

PS: Tell THDUKE no one's gonna argue with him!!... Thought I saw 240 in the woods there?

Why not switch to 10 mm? If you are hunting squirrels, use a .22
If you have a need for a lot of mass on target, bigger x fewer = faster

SPO1: Basically a 75B with improvements and extended slide cover. It should be available as DA/SA, SA only and I read about a mod for DA only.
Many consider the SA only as the best CZ OOB trigger available. It's a shooter. The 19+1 mags are expensive, but it will also take the 16+1 MecGars that can be had for $18/.

With the FP interrupt, you can drop it on the hammer cocked and locked and it won't fire. Like the 1911, just stay off the trigger 'til you are ready to do a good deed.

SP-01....

You pull one of those out of your Maxpedition and you've got someone's attention right now!
