I started out with 2 of the Lee C shapes presses. Don't under estimate their strength. I have ripped them off the bench. Trying to get a stuck case free.
Let's hope your Lyman lasts forever as I've heard/read Lyman has one of the worst customer service departments of any manufacturer.I didn't want to keep it. I tossed it and bought a real O press from Lyman. I didn't want to worry about when it would break again.
Ive delt with them on busted die parts....yes pretty much always my fault.Let's hope your Lyman lasts forever as I've heard/read Lyman has one of the worst customer service departments of any manufacturer.
But my little Lee C press has reloaded thousands of rounds of handgun ammo, sized several thousands of cast bullets and deprimed/primed many, many cases and I've never broken any part of it (but I've been using hand tools to make a living for over 55 years so I guess I know how to use them)...

You have to admit it is on the low end of quality.
Or it's on the high end of a $35.00 press!
If I didn't have a progressive I'd want exactly that - or something that price - to put an RT1500 trimmer on.
