just like it says, wondering what would be the most quiet to shoot super colibris.

saw a gsg 1911 with fake suppressor, would this mean a longer barrel make it quieter like a 10/22 shooting colibris?

saw some people shooting regular .22s at the range out of the longer ruger mark III barrel 7"? and sounded quieter than my 5" barrel.. so would the colibris be quieter out of the longer barrel?..

thanks !

The longer the barrel the quieter this round will be. They will still be no where near as quiet as out of a rifle. The Super Colibris sound like my air rifle when shot from a rifle, but I still need ear protection when shooting them out of my 6" revolver.

I would expect it to be the most quiet - relatively speaking - out of an autoloader or single-shot, the longer the barrel the better, due to their not having the barrel/cylinder gap of a revolver. But such light loads will not cycle an autoloading action. A suppressor - real or fake - does not add to the actual length of rifled bore.

Not quiet out of a revolver, similar to a CO2 gun.
But my grandson really enjoys shooting them out of my 4" Taurus.
9 rounds and I'll take a little noise for the reliability or a revolver.

Super Colibris are useless.
Regular Colibris are much quieter out of a pistol
super colibris are fairly loud out of a pistol, very quiet out of a rifle,
but CCI CB longs from a rifle are about the same noise level as super colibris, but pack a much bigger punch.

Single shot will be quieter than a blowback
Blowback will be quieter than a revolver

Barrel length matters also

They may not cycle a blowback gun, which can lead to interesting half-assed ejection malfunctions.
