I own a glock model 22 and recently purchased a threaded barrel for it wondering what my options are for suppressors if any?

First off, you gotta get ouuuut of Minnesota as I did after the Army. The dopey socialist scandinavians watch too much hollywood movies and believe silencers are a tool of assassins:rolleyes:. So when you get out of MN make sure you live in a county that the sheriff will sign your form 4(trusts will work but the ATF is cracking down on them). Your closest bet is South Dakota as they believe in the constitution and the freedoms the Founders intended. As far as a silencer, well, a .40 is a high pressure cartridge and less quiet than a 9mm, but about on par with the .45 due the diameter and that the 45 is a lower pressure cartridge. The best can on the market today is the SilencerCo Osprey. You can get it in 9mm, 40 or 45. I have the 45 and I bought a 9mm piston so I can shoot my Glock 26 through it and yes its still very quiet. If you dont own a 45 then get the 40 and if you own a 9mm you can buy the piston for $75 and shoot your 9mm through it. The Osprey retails for $850, but I'm sure you can get it for 10-20% less if you look around within your state that allows you the freedom to own. Dont forget a 1934 $200 Tax stamp that goes to the tools of suppression in the NFA/ATF. I suggest NOT buying out of state as that adds more time and money in transfer fees and another form(3). If the Dakotas dont work for ya then Wisconsin allows suppressors.
