Swiss K31 Front sight help!

Anyone got an adjustor they would like to rent? I keep seeing them on ebay at NEARLY reasonable prices...but they are in Switzerland and it's another 25 bucks to get them to Texas.

They make an adjsuter? I've always just used a brass punch and a hammer.

You can make one out of a nut splitter. Alot cheaper route to go.

Dont use a brass punch and hammer, it will mash the sight blade. pay the extra money to do it properly, or make one out of a nut splitter.( I used a punch and hammer on a Mauser and ruined it), good luck.

I also used a brass punch and a brass hammer and it worked fine for me

Just dont hit it too hard

And make sure the punch is pushing on the sight base, not the blade.

One of mine shot to the left until I brass punch/hammered it... be gentle, and push only the base and you're fine.
