"Tactical" Pens

I'll clarify here what I brought up in the video.

Just about any pen out there is going to be sturdy enough to be used as a stabber.

The S&W Tactical Pen and the Elishewitz Tao Pen are designed to be used in the manner of a kubotan, including grappling which would break bic pens in half, separate Cross pens into two pieces, and even break sharpies.

Is that a big deal? In my opinion... not really. But the difference is there. Already owning the Tao pen, I choose to carry it instead of the more fragile Cross pen.

I have a S&W first design tactical pen I bought on a whim whilst at the local Sportsman's Warehouse. It was on sale for $20.00, and in anodized blue which makes my eyes feel good for some reason. After having it for a few months, I feel totally confident when in an area or place where my gun has to be left at home. It is so impressive what I can do with it (to me of course!) that I would not like to be the one o n the other side of it. I could decapitate someone very quickly and hurtfully in a second and run away easily. Or give them a good whacking and add some damage if they persisted.

I have carried the zebra 701 for a while along with the new(er) refillable sharpie

I carry them because I use them for what they are intended but I know they can be used defensively if needed

i bought a surefire tactical 2 but i didnt buy it for tactical purposes i bought it because it was strong and durable
