I like my Walther PPS, but it has one feature that makes me nervous-the backstrap safety. If the backstrap isn't on, the gun won't fire. My worry is that if I drop the gun and the backstrap breaks and comes off, I would be defenseless.
Right now I have a rubber slip-on grip (Hogue or Pachmayr, I forget which) to hold the backstrap on, but as thin as it is, it makes the grip a bit thicker than I like. I was thinking about swapping it out for a Talon grip. Does anyone use this or any similar product who can tell me if it would completely cover the backstrap of a Walther PPS and keep it from coming off?
