A simple $44 holster that will work for the EAA Witness Hunter in 10mm or 45acp with a 6" slide. Mine is a 45.

Start with a Blackhawk brand Size 25 Serpa Concealment holster, also used for S&W M&P 9 / 40. "Works" as is. Holster needs to be at least 1 1/8" wide inside and this one is.

However, to make the draw 100% reliable, rasp out and chamfer inside edge barrel end of holster. This provides a smooth ramp for the front sight and will prevent hang up regardless of draw angle.

To make it 100% secure for running and jumping, add some epoxy to take up a little less than half of the holster trigger guard well. Without the epoxy you can twist the pistol slightly in the holster and draw without unlocking the holster.

I could have ordered a holster for the Tanfoglio for about twice as much as this one cost. I'm posting because there is not much info out there for these fine pistols.View attachment 235187 View attachment 235188 View attachment 235189 View attachment 235190

Thanks for the compliment! This is the first Tanfoglio I've owned so I've been learning. I bought the 6" slide for shooting 50 to 100 yards, which I've been practicing at. I really really like this gun.

What I didn't expect is that I can double tap faster and more accurately with this gun than with my regular IDPA gun at IDPA distances. I don't know why that is but maybe someone can offer insight.

I made the holster so I can run the course and see what the results are. The draw feels awkward, that extra inch makes a difference.
